On April 23rd our troupe of award-winning actors, writers, and a range of other creative stagecrafters from Norwood HS head north to represent Massachusetts with a performance of “Stay Tuned” at the New England Theatre Festival in Maine. It was a great honor to be chosen to represent the state at this regional festival after advancing through three rounds and performing at METG State Finals last month, but that honor comes with a high cost: approximately $275 per student for housing and transportation. The burden of that cost falls on our 24 students who have worked so hard to make this show the success it is.
Please help us raise funds for the students involved in this award-winning play to attend the New England Theatre Festival. Come see the show right here at home (NHS) on April 17th at 7pm! All proceeds will go towards this fund. Dan Busler has generously created keepsake posters for sale towards the fund.
Or if you can’t make it, NFACT and the Backstage Boosters have kindly offered to process all donations (which are tax-deductible) made online. To contribute offline, please make your check out to Backstage Boosters and note that you’d like the money put towards the Norwood Drama NETF trip. Or give online through NFACT.
Even small amounts add up quickly if we reach enough people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
